HAVE MERCY


I know He can't see me
When I sin, and when I think of sinning
But Jesus, for me
Cover me with your Blood
And then He my Father can see me

Sometimes I just like to know
He knows me
And please have mercy on me

Have mercy on my mistakes
Have mercy on my desires
Have mercy on my want-to-be, my should-be, my would-be

If you cover me
I will be worthy before  God
If you cover me
I will be perfect for a season

If you cover me with your Powerful, Pure healing blood
I will be yours, even when I'm not sinless
