HAVE MERCY



I know he can't see me
When I sin
When I think of sinning
But Jesus is for me
Cover me with your blood
Then He, my Father can see me

Sometimes I just like to know
He knows me
And please have mercy on me
Have mercy on my mistakes
Have mercy on my desires
Have mercy on my want-to-be, my should be, my would be

If you cover me
I will be noticeable to God
If you cover me
I will be perfect to God
For a season

If you cover me with your powerful, pure healing blood
I will be yours even when I'm not sinless
